Canadian Federal Election 2006
Market Liquidation Values

The liquidation values are based on the final count results published by Elections Canada following the return of the writs, completed on February 13, 2006. The final election results are those reported as "validated" or "judicially certified" by Elections Canada in the spreadsheet with results for each riding and candidate; click on the hyperlink to download this spreadsheet from the Elections Canada web site.

Liquidation involves closing and auditing the accounts, and issuing cheques. This process takes usually about a week. We have commenced this process on Friday February 17th. We expect that we will be able to mail the cheques on Thursday Feburary 23rd.

Rounding of liquidation values are to the nearest 1/10th of a cent, ensuring that the total adds up to 100.0 cents precisely using the Hamilton/Hare/Niemeyer rounding procedure described in the Trader's Manual.
